What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the welcoming face at the front desk - greet patients, check them in and out, and ensure all paperwork is complete
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, answering questions about scheduling, insurance, procedures, and patient needs
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments efficiently, optimizing provider and surgical time
- Process insurance verifications, patient payments, and maintain accurate digital records (knowledge of dental software a plus)
- Assist patients with check-in/check-out, registration, and billing questions
- Support the clinical team with communication, chart prep, and daily workflow
- Handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure a smooth patient experience from first contact to follow-up
- Be a resource for patient questions, helping them feel confident and at ease about their care
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ year of dental or medical office experience preferred (front desk or call center)
- Comfort with scheduling, digital dental software, and insurance verification
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Professional, empathetic, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a high-volume setting
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
