Discover where good grows at Bob Evans Restaurants! We are currently seeking an individual to join the Supply Chain team at our New Albany, Oh. restaurant support center. This is a fulltime exempt position that reports in office Monday - Thursday with an option to work remote on Fridays.
Statement of Purpose:
This position is responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing distribution of products to Bob Evans restaurants, with the overarching goal of delivering the right product, to the right restaurant, at the right price. This position will manage supplier relationships to ensure service levels and contractual criteria are maintained to Bob Evan's expectations. These responsibilities include, building and maintaining excellent customer service support to the field and adapting to ever-changing business environments.
Accountabilities
- Manage and coordinate distribution program for all core product and LTO offerings
- Review usage and distribution of inventory positions on all items, and work with supplier partners to ensure appropriate inventory levels
- Partner with cross-functional departments to ensure new program initiatives are properly prepared and communicated
- Coordinate, organize, and manage all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of goods
- Measure Distributor performance and ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies, and regulatory requirements
- Schedule logistics associated with making Distributor deliveries, and quickly and effectively resolving any issues when they arise
- Manage contract compliance and approved substitution list
- Verify pricing and maintain contract agreements are in term and active
- Arrowstream “Center of Excellence”
- Track and present the declining budget for Obsolete Inventory
- Develop, manage, and implement supply chain processes
- Execute RFP's for cost savings or benchmarking purposes
Knowledge
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Process improvement driven with the ability to negotiate supplier programs, performance initiatives, contract pricing, and terms and conditions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Experience with Arrowstream
- Works well collaboratively and as an individual contributor
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree and or combination of equivalent education and experience in related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Distribution and Supply Chain Services
