Position Summary: As a board eligible or credentialed vascular sonographer, performs vascular studies. Each exam is defined by the safety and related criteria appropriate to the age of the patients and according to established standards and protocols. This individual is responsible for proper, effective and timely communication in all vascular lab operations and patient related care, customer satisfaction, performance improvement, so that high quality patient care will be provided. May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications: [Required] High school diploma or equivalent. BLS, Completion of accredited program in Vascular Ultrasound (RVT – Registered Vascular Technologist); or ARDMS with minimum of 2 years experience in a dedicated Vascular Lab. Minimum of one year patient care experience as a Vascular Lab Technologist in either a hospital or clinic environment. Proficient in Transcranial Doppler (TCD) studies.
[Preferred Qualifications]: ARDMS (American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) with RVT
Salary Range: $47.43-$66.76 hourly. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
