Are you an experienced Data Architect with a passion for building and enhancing data driven solutions? Orion180 is looking for a hands-on Senior Data Architect to help organize the strategic vision of our data strategy and provide technical expertise in designing, implementing, building and managing our reporting, analytics, and data infrastructure capabilities. This role involves leading and managing teams dedicated to building reports & BIs, defining, changing, and establishing data governance and data architecture frameworks, collaborating with cross functional teams, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance. This role will be the primary point of contact to work with the Data & Analytics function of the company to ensure that Data Governance & Strategy is aligned for the entire company with clear responsibilities, best practices, and disciplined development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Architecture Design: develop and maintain data architecture plans that align with business growth objectives and technical requirements while maintaining world class performance standards.
- Data Modeling: design and implement data models for relational databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
- Data Governance: establish and enforce data governance policies and standards, ensuring data quality, security, compliance, and a complete data dictionary with clear sources of truth.
- Data Integration: design and implement data integration processes including third party data management and vendor relationships.
- Business Intelligence: collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the reporting and analytics needs and produce the necessary solutions to provide insights.
- Data Security: implement security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
- Team Leadership: mentor junior associates and provide guidance and support. Lead full stack development teams to deliver reports, BIs, and other reporting and analytics driven projects.
- Communication: clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Vision: stay current and informed about emerging trends in data technologies and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of database technologies, data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
- Ability to analyze complex data requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Ability to lead and manage data architecture projects, including planning, execution, and resource allocation.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex data related issues.
- Software (SaaS) experience.
- Experience implementing Machine Learning models including AI technologies and the application of data science.

- BS in Computer Science or related data discipline(s).

- Hands-on experience on MS Azure Services with Developing, Deploying and configuring Azure Web Apps, Azure App Services using Visual Studio, experience in cloud migration and integration, Experience in building solutions using Event Hub, Service Bus.
