Position Summary:

The Assistant Manager plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Imaging Department. This position provides administrative, operational, and organizational support to ensure effective workflow, communication, and compliance with internal and external requirements. The Assistant Manager works closely with Imaging Manager and staff to maintain departmental efficiency, support quality care delivery, and contribute to a positive team environment.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education
-
Graduate of an Accredited School of Medical Imaging

Bachelor's or Associate's degree in an Imaging or related field of study

Minimum Experience
-
Five years of experience in Radiology or Imaging field.

Required Registration/License/Certification
-
Kansas License for Radiologic Technology (LRT)
-
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)

Basic Life Support certification will be accepted from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider, or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Healthcare Provider), or successfully completes within the first 90 days of employment.
