POSITION SUMMARY
Craig Hospital is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Administrative Nurse Manager to join our nationally renowned team. In this pivotal leadership role, you will bring your advanced clinical expertise, supervisory experience, and deep commitment to quality care to oversee the seamless delivery of patient services across departments. You will serve as the go-to leader for shift-based hospital operations, staffing coordination, and crisis management—ensuring every patient receives safe, timely, and exceptional care.

Your ability to lead by example and support nurses in delivering high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation care will have a lasting impact on patient outcomes and staff development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the clinical and operational leader across nursing units during assigned shifts, ensuring optimal staffing, workflow, and resource allocation.
- Support direct patient care as needed, reinforcing adherence to the ANA Code of Ethics and the Colorado Nurse Practice Act.
- Manage hospital-wide emergency responses with confidence and coordination.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align nursing care with SCI and TBI rehabilitation goals.
- Act as a subject-matter expert on regulatory compliance, policy standards, and best practices in neuroscience and med/surg rehab care.
- Promote safe transitions of care, quality handoffs, and effective safety huddles.
- Mentor staff, provide real-time feedback, and help develop future nursing leaders.
- Champion initiatives in quality improvement, professional development, and technology adoption.
- Lead efforts in recruitment, retention, and staff morale by cultivating a supportive work environment.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Licensure & Certification:
- Active Colorado RN license or compact licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association - Healthcare Provider certification
- Safety Cares II (within 6 months of hire)
- Magnet-recognized specialty certification (within 6 months of hire)
Education:
- BSN from an accredited nursing program (CCNE or NLNAC) is required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
Experience:
- 3–5 years of direct nursing experience
- 1–2 years in a nursing leadership or charge nurse role preferred
Skills & Strengths:
- In-depth knowledge of nursing practice in neuro and acute rehabilitation settings
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in team-building and staff performance management
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations
- Technologically savvy with strong command of Microsoft Office and EMR systems
- Confident in delivering presentations and leading interdepartmental initiatives
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that demands flexibility, initiative, and vision

Pay Range: $44.89 - $64.64 + Shift Differentials
