At Jushi Holdings Inc. ”) (CSE: JUSH) (OTCQX: JUSHF), we are shaping the future of the cannabis industry, the fastest growing jobs sector in the U.S. Jushi is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Flower/Harvest Manager to oversee all aspects of the flowering stage of our cannabis cultivation operations, including the harvest process. The Flower/Harvest Manager will be responsible for ensuring optimal plant health, maximizing flower production and quality, and managing the entire harvest team. This role requires a deep understanding of cannabis cultivation best practices, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will also be responsible for leading and developing both the flower and harvest teams.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Flowering Stage Management: Oversee and manage all activities related to the flowering stage of cannabis cultivation, from early bloom through harvest.
- Cultivation Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement detailed cultivation plans and schedules specifically for the flowering stage, ensuring alignment with overall production targets and the unique needs of each strain.
- Plant Health Monitoring: Continuously monitor plant health and development throughout the flowering cycle, proactively identifying and addressing any issues such as nutrient deficiencies, diseases, pests, or abiotic stress. Implement preventative measures as needed.
- Environmental Control: Maintain optimal environmental conditions within the flowering rooms/areas, including precise control of temperature, humidity, lighting, and CO2 levels, to maximize flower development, terpene production, and overall quality.
- Plant Training & Canopy Management: Implement and supervise appropriate plant training techniques (e.g., trellising, topping, defoliation) to optimize canopy structure, light penetration, and airflow, ultimately maximizing flower yield and quality.
- Harvest Oversight & Management: Directly manage all harvest activities, including the supervision of the harvest team. Ensure proper procedures are followed for timely and efficient harvesting while maintaining flower quality and minimizing loss. Coordinate the smooth transition of harvested material to post-harvest processing.
- Post-Harvest Cleanliness: Oversee and execute the thorough clean-up and sanitization of harvest rooms and all related equipment to maintain a sterile environment and prepare for the next cycle.
- Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain meticulous and accurate records of plant growth, yields, environmental conditions, and all treatments applied throughout the flowering and harvest stages. Generate reports as required.
TEAM LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT
- Directly supervise and mentor two Flower Leads and two Harvest Supervisors, providing guidance, support, and ongoing training.
- Oversee and manage both the Flower Technicians and the Harvest Team, delegating tasks effectively and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Provide regular training and development opportunities for all team members on cultivation and harvest techniques.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement for each team member.
- Foster a positive and safe work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
OTHER DUTIES
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, including any ancillary duties involved in maintaining cultivation spaces.
- Adhere to all company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety regulations.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and new research in cannabis cultivation
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Plant Science, or a related field (preferred).
- A minimum of three years of experience in managing commercial cannabis cultivation, with a strong emphasis on both the flowering stage and harvest operations.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of cannabis cultivation best practices, specifically within the flowering stage and efficient harvest processes.
- Extensive knowledge of cannabis plant physiology, nutrient requirements, common pests and diseases, and environmental control strategies for optimal flowering.
- Experience with various plant training techniques and canopy management strategies.
- Proven ability to develop and implement cultivation schedules and protocols.
- Excellent observation and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing plant health issues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accurate record-keeping.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and record-keeping tools
