$33.16 - $49.74 an hour - Half-Time Days, 20 hours per week
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Physician Liaison who is responsible for the implementation of strategies aimed at enhancing the target market and referral sources for Boulder Community Hospital Services. The position utilizes a wide variety of marketing skills, tools, and tactics to reach, enhance, and maintain relationships with physicians and physician practices that are owned by BCH or are independent. Working closely with the Chief Business Officer and other key management personnel, the Physician Liaison assists in establishing and communicating specific messages, marketing plans and objectives, implements those plans, and provides feedback back to management.

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in a health and/or business-related field with experience in direct sales and marketing preferred.
•Two years in a health-related field or health-related marketing experience preferred
Responsibilities
•Working closely with the Chief Business Officer and other key management personnel, the Physician Liaison establishes specific messages, marketing plans and objectives, implements those plans, and provides feedback back to management.
•Decrease referral leakage from BCH system.
•Develops strategies to increase referrals/sales to/of targeted programs and services at BCH.
•Coordinate efforts with Chief Business Officer and Clinical Departments to establish new sales goals and territories as appropriate.
•Utilizes communication for establishing and maintaining mutual understanding to and from physician offices within the BCH system and external, referring physicians.
•Utilizes a wide variety of marketing skills, tools, and tactics to reach, enhance, and maintain relationships with physicians and physician practices that are owned by BCH or are independent.
•Develop Client Specific, targeted marketing plan(s) for physicians and physician practices, including those for “lost clients”.
•In advance and in collaboration with clinical department needs and strategic plan, plan Physician practice visits,
•Relay appropriate information back in real-time to clinical departments regarding results of marketing visits (Report Out).
•Relay information back in a manner that is consistent with Encore regarding impediments (issues) to business development at Physician Practices.
•Collaborates with Clinical Departments to remove impediments and communicate back the improvements to the Physician Practices.
•Utilizes Software tools such as Crimson Market Advantage, CRM, Meditech, etc. to assist in identifying areas of potential growth and to document Customer Relations activity.
•Utilizes software and reports to detail success in performing job duties.
•Assists in developing and producing collateral material and physician practice education in accessing BCH services as well as reporting utilization trends to management.
•Travels to targeted physician offices/practices throughout primary and secondary service areas.
•Works with the Targeted Clinical Department to maintain existing clients, capture maximum utilization and develop new clients.
•Attend meetings and seminars, review journals so as to stay informed about the market.
