DEFINITION OF POSITION

Under the General direction of the CIO, the Clinical Information Systems Analysts works independently to evaluate; analyze; coordinate testing and training; coordinate upgrades and enhancements; and generally supports conversions, enhancements, implementations, upgrade and ongoing maintenance of all Clinical modules. Acts as a liaison between departments and vendors. Supervises the LIS Administrator and the PACS Administrator.

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional

Bachelors Degree preferred or Associates degree and equivalent work experience.

5 Years of experience Nursing Informatics or a related area or equivalent work experience preferred.

Familiarity with health care related Information Technology.

Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within field.

Demonstrates progressive management experience.
