Chesapeake Electric is looking for an exceptional Permitting and Compliance Coordinator to join our dynamic team and help drive the success of our installation projects. This role is integral to ensuring our operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with our mission to exceed customer expectations.
We’re seeking a proactive, organized, and resourceful individual who thrives on solving logistical puzzles and loves keeping everything on track. Your expertise in administrative coordination and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering top-notch service to our customers.
What You'll Be Doing:
As the Service Coordinator, you will be the backbone of our installation operations, providing crucial administrative support to our Install Manager. Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating all logistics to ensure every project runs seamlessly from start to finish.
- Manage the application, renewal, and cancellation of electrical permits while scheduling inspections with municipalities and utility companies. Additionally, you’ll maintain up-to-date knowledge of licensing requirements and ensure our compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Oversee subcontractor scheduling, maintaining a database of reliable vendors, and collaborating with the team to build relationships with qualified service providers.
- Research permit expirations, address violations, and track failed inspections for resolution.
- Track and renew business licenses while ensuring accurate documentation of all vendor-related records, including contracts, permits, and compliance files.
- Beyond the day-to-day operations, you’ll have the opportunity to tackle special projects and support initiatives that enhance our team’s performance and customer satisfaction.
Your role will be critical in ensuring that every installation project reflects the high standards Chesapeake Electric is known for.

- Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal utility requirements.

- Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with ServiceTitan is a huge bonus.
Pay Band:
Total Cash Compensation (TCC) with hourly + performance pay
Base pay: $23-$27/hr
Performance Pay: up to 20% of base hourly rate
The pay range for this role is:23 - 27 USD per hour(Annapolis)
