Job Brief:
Perform store audits for over 250 store locations.
Responsibilities:
- Perform store audits in accordance with audit programs under the supervision of the auditor-in-charge.
- Obtain evidentiary data and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Document audit procedures, findings, and conclusions for work papers.
- Document detailed process narratives and walkthroughs.
- Draft audit reports for management review.
- Communicate audit results and address disputes with store management as they arise.
- Issue final reports to store management and executives.
- Additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to read and understand audit procedures
- Ability to research and understand company policies
- Ability to communicate and explain audit results to store personnel
- Oserve and understand business processes, ensuring processes are documented completely and accurately
- Ability to perform a self-review and catch mistakes before Workpapers are submitted for review.
- Take full ownership of performing the tasks assigned.
- Keep supervisors informed of project status.
- Ability to identify the underlying cause of an issue raised
- Strong organization and follow-up skills, including the ability to handle competing priorities and meet all deadlines and commitments,
- Willingness and ability to adapt to new circumstances, information, and challenges
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently; proactive in asking clarifying questions to ensure work effort is directed toward the desired outcome
- Able to work with a variety of personnel, from store team members to mid-level management
- Good professional judgment and an analytical mindset
- Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a business environment or audit roles is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- This is a full-time position (40 hours a week)
