The Opportunity
Marshall Reddick is seeking a dependable and organized Onsite Resident Manager to join our team at an apartment complex that we manage in North Los Angeles, CA. Ideally we are seeking an individual with a full time job looking for part time work. This position will require approximately 4 hours per week paid at $20 per hour and discounted unit. This person is required to live onsite.
The Onsite Resident Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the apartment complex, ensuring the property is well-maintained and tenants’ needs are promptly addressed. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in property management with a reputable company.

What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing questions, concerns, and maintenance requests.
- Conduct routine property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper upkeep.
- Coordinate and oversee vendors for maintenance, repairs, and other services as needed.
- Manage tenant move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and documentation.
- Assist in enforcing property rules and policies to maintain a positive living environment.
- Handle light administrative tasks, such as posting notices or collecting and logging tenant communications.
- Show vacant apartments as requested if needed.
- Comply with rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission of the State of California concerning rental practices, and with the Fire, Health and Safety Departments of City or County government.
- Additional duties as requested by Employer.
What Qualifies You
- Previous experience in property management or customer service is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle minor maintenance tasks or coordinate with vendors for larger projects.
- Must live on-site and be available for occasional after-hours emergencies.
- Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
- Must be available for 4 hours/week, some flexibility required.
