Registered Nurse - Archbold Grady Cardiac Rehabilitation
Position Description:
Assumes responsibility and initiative for planning and time management.
Educating patients on their current medications and co-morbidities
Checking and documenting vital signs
Documenting daily reports in the department system
Scheduling new/existing patients
Completing new patient assessments
Keeping forms/charting updated
Performing a 12 lead ECG independently
Provides an effective high standard of care and assumes responsibility for the safety and mental and physical comfort for the following age groups: adult, geriatrics
Assumes responsibility for all aspects of technical duties in the performance of Cardiac/Vascular Rehab patients.
Assumes responsibility for all aspects of ancillary duties of the Cardiac/Vascular Rehab Department.
Experience/Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
BSN preferred
Licensed by the State of Georgia Nursing Board
Completion of the coronary care course and BCLS required
ACLS certification preferred
Minimum of three years recent clinical experience, at least two of which are in a specialty setting such as ICU, CCU, ER, PACU, or other acute care setting.
One year experience in a cardiac rehabilitation program is preferred.
