Overview:
Stewart-Amos Sweeper Co. is seeking a motivated and skilled Production & Service Technician to join our dynamic team. Whether you"re starting your mechanical career or bringing years of expertise, we offer a supportive environment where safety, excellence, and continuous growth are priorities.
What You"ll Do:
- Assemble, test, and prepare street sweepers for delivery.
- Perform equipment diagnostics, maintenance, refurbishment, and repairs (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical).
- Provide field service support, customer training, and equipment demonstrations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to service and production.
- Collaborate on initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of shop and fieldwork areas.
Ideal Candidates Have:
- Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and continuous improvement.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
- Dedication to maintaining workplace safety standards.
Preferred (But Not Required):
- Experience diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding diesel or gasoline engines, especially Kubota engines.
- Previous experience in an authorized OEM service center environment.
