Your Role as a Dental Assistant:
- Support the periodontist during surgical and non-surgical procedures including implant placement, bone grafting, and scaling/root planing
- Sterilize and organize instruments, maintain a clean and safe environment
- Take and process digital radiographs and assist in surgical imaging (i-CAT, Simplant)
- Prepare and educate patients pre- and post-operatively for optimal outcomes
- Manage inventory, ensure operatory readiness, and assist with documentation/charting
- Provide high-level chairside support and emotional reassurance to patients undergoing complex care
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in surgical or periodontal settings
- Current CPR certification and radiology certification (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to patient comfort and safety
- Professionalism, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $22-24/hour
- 8 Paid holidays and 3 weeks of PTO (for full-time roles)
