As we expand our U.S. operations, we are seeking a talentedBusiness Development Manager – Oil & Gas (Polyacrylamide Chemical Sales) to drive growth and provide expert technical support to our clients. The Business Development Manager will focus on expanding our customer base and growing sales of polyacrylamide-based products within upstream and midstream Oil & Gas operations. This is a client-facing role requiring both technical knowledge and a strong track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities:
·Develop new business opportunities focused on polyacrylamide and related chemical solutions
·Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders across the Oil & Gas value chain
·Manage the full sales cycle—from lead generation to negotiation and closing
·Provide technical insights and product support to clients, including application guidance
·Collaborate with the R&D and operations teams to align solutions with customer needs
·Maintain knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands
·Attend customer visits, site demonstrations, and relevant trade events
Qualifications:
·Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field
·Minimum 7 years of experience in technical sales or business development in the Oil & Gas industry
·Specific experience selling polyacrylamide or water-soluble polymers preferred
·Strong understanding of chemical usage in fracturing, drilling fluids, or produced water treatment
·Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive market
·Excellent communication, client management, and strategic selling skills
·Based in Houston, TX, with up to 30% regional travel
