We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Management Analyst to support large-scale government travel operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing expert services for high-volume travel processing. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with the Defense Travel System (DTS), comprehensive knowledge of travel regulations, and the ability to manage complex travel operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Process, review, and approve travel vouchers and orders in Defense Travel System (DTS), including Renewal Agreement Travel (RAT), Educational Travel (EDT), and Permanent Change of Station (PCS).
•Perform CBA (Centrally Billed Account) Reconciliation, accurately tracking and resolving charge discrepancies.
•Manage PCS transactions, including funding validation, shipment tracking, and resolution of debt for overweight household goods.
•Review travel documentation for compliance with Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) and Department of Defense Financial Management Regulations (DoD FMR).
•Provide customer service and support for payment inquiries and issues, coordinating with DFAS as needed.
•Deliver training on DTS processes, compliance requirements, and best practices to users.
•Maintain and update tracking systems for travel documentation and approvals.
•Generate accurate reports and metrics to monitor travel program performance.
•Support formal briefings to senior leadership, including developing PowerPoint presentations and handouts.
ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor"s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
•Minimum of 3 years of experience with Defense Travel System (DTS) and managing complex travel operations.
•Extensive knowledge of Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), DoD Financial Management Regulations (DoD FMR), and travel entitlements.
•Active Secret security clearance (mandatory).
•Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
•Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
•Excellent communication and customer service skills.
•Previous experience in a federal or DoD environment preferred.
•Certification in Government Travel Management is a plus.
