Job Summary
- The Epic Clinical Support Desk Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting healthcare professionals by troubleshooting, supporting and reinforcing best practice as it pertains to the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. This role provides end-user support and collaborates with IT and clinical teams to improve workflows and system efficiency.
Education
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field or sufficient experience in a clinical setting commensurate with education.
Experience
- Experience working with Epic EHR systems in a clinical or IT support capacity
Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries
- Preferred - Epic certification(s) in relevant modules (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, Wisdom, Phoenix, MyChart)
- Preferred - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and data security best practices
