DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION
-
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing occupational therapy services to clients of the agency. The primary function is the provision of direct patient care, including collaboration with other team members and participation in the development of the patient’s comprehensive plan of care.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)

Experience:
-
Minimum of two years preferred.

Education and Training:
-
Graduate of an accredited Baccalaureate or Master’s Degree program in Occupational Therapy.

License, Certification & Registration:
-
MAOT - Licensed or license eligible (within 6 month ) Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts.

Current and valid driver’s license.

Other Requirements:
-
Rehabilitation equipment including but not limited to:
-
splints
-
orthoses
-
prostheses,
-
wheelchairs
-
ADL equipment
-
modalities.
