We are a leading insurance brokerage firm in Brampton seeking an ambitious and driven Commercial Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales division, you will be responsible for acquiring new commercial business, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth. This role offers a competitive base salary and an exciting opportunity to earn a 70% commission on new business, providing excellent earning potential based on your performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Proactively identify and acquire new commercial clients, including businesses of all sizes. Your focus will be on sourcing new leads, networking, and building relationships to generate high-value opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and they are satisfied with the products and services provided.
- Insurance Solutions: Work closely with clients to understand their unique business insurance needs and offer tailored coverage solutions that align with their goals and industry requirements.
- Proposal & Quote Management: Prepare and present comprehensive insurance proposals, quotes, and policy recommendations to clients, explaining the benefits and value of coverage options in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaboration: Work in tandem with the brokerage team, underwriters, and support staff to provide exceptional customer service and seamless policy administration.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth and ensure that clients receive the most relevant and competitive insurance products.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial insurance sales or account management, with a strong track record of generating new business.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, including property, liability, auto, and workers' compensation coverage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and team members.
- Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and achieve sales goals.
- Valid insurance license in Ontario (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience using CRM systems to track leads, sales activity, and client information.
