This position is 1st shift working Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm.
Position Description:
- Welding products to print using manual, semi‐automatic, and automatic welding equipment using MIG and TIG
Primary Objectives:
- Responsible for Quality of parts welded in a timely manner
- Responsible for daily welding of work in adherence to the quality management system
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for welding of parts
- Inspection of parts
- Following safety procedures
- Correct documentation (timekeeping, BOM's, prints, etc..)
- Other duties as assigned such as general maintenance, housekeeping, etc.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience of wire feed welding
- Welding experience in a related industry preferred
- Welding technology degree (2‐yr) preferred
- Ability to pass AHI welding certification within 90 days of hire for multiple processes
- Ability to setup and run various programs on welding equipment
- Ability to multi‐task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Strong math and mechanical aptitude preferred
- Comfortable using various computer software
- Ability to use and read measuring equipment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day
- Good verbal and written communication skills
