Job Summary
A Team Lead Staff will be responsible for the coordination of services on a daily basis. They will assure that all program standards are met and that the overall quality of the program is upheld. They will report to the Coordinator or Manager of the specific department in regards to any areas of concern. They will provide assistance/training to the staff and/or persons to assure that each person receives the services identified by the person's team.
Essential Job Duties
· Open and close the program on days when the program manager is not available.
· Assist with completion of lesson plans/calendar for the specialized habilitation program.
· Assist with completion of paperwork for the person served.
· Ensure that supplies are stocked/organized, and the day program facility is clean at the beginning and end of the day.
· Train staff on person specific and program information including OJT's and protocols.
· Lead the SH daily activities to ensure people served have the best possible experience.
· Assure that staff teach/role model the skills each person needs support with according to their IP (Individual Plan).
· Notify your supervisor of any problems or concerns regarding the person.
· Attend all required trainings and departmental meetings to increase knowledge of programs and people served.
· Perform the duties of a Support Specialist as scheduled (also review and sign job description).
Other Duties

· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Experience working with people with disabilities, children, or elderly persons.
· A High School Diploma or GED is required, bachelors' degree is preferred.
· A criminal background check must be completed and meet state regulations.
· A copy of driver's license and car insurance is required (only in special circumstance will a person not be required to have these documents).
· Three positive references; at least two from previous employers.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
