Job Summary
Assist the Manager in supervising activities and personnel in the insurance department; assist in overseeing employees in following all policies and procedures regarding appropriate action taken to ensure claims are processed timely and paid appropriately, ensure appeals are handled timely and accurately, identify overpayments and taking appropriate action. Also, monitor all correspondence to ensure appropriate action is taken. Responsible for the training of new staff in the insurance department.
