FusionSleep is an accredited, independent medical practice that is 100% dedicated to sleep medicine. Our expert team of experienced physicians are board certified in sleep medicine and focus on disease prevention and management.
Telemedicine is the new way to provide patient care.We're looking for someone who is technology savvy and can be responsible for documenting medical history, taking patient vital signs and ensuring proper data and labs are available to support the physician.
The ideal candidate will be service-minded, confident, adaptable, and able to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines. In addition to meeting physician and patients needs, the Check-In/Out Coordinator tasks may include:
What you"ll do
- Verifying and updating patient demographics and insurance verification
- Communicating with providers to facilitate smooth flow of clinic
- Scheduling patient appointments in person and telemed
- Determining patients" financial responsibility; including preparation of financial agreements and proper estimates for future services
- Collecting copays
- Assisting patients with questions regarding account balances, benefits or general insurance inquiries
- Pulling next days patient charts and organize per scheduled appointment time
- Preparing new patient charts
- Maintaining inventory of all front office supplies
- Performing and/or assisting with other administrative duties and projects as assigned
- Generating fee tickets and daily close responsibilities
- Responding to patient emails and calls
- Accurately documenting system tasks pending and completed
Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience working in a medical/clinic setting preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of general clerical experience
- Entry level Medical Assistant preferred
- Sleep Medicine or Respiratory Care experience preferred
- Care Cloud Practice Management preferred
- EMR system experience required
