About the Role and What You"ll Do:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Payroll Specialist to join our team on-site in our Margate, Florida HQ Office. We pride ourselves on maintaining high-level professional skills and handling sensitive information with utmost confidentiality. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Payroll Specialist will collaborate with management to ensure efficient payroll processes and compliance with all regulations and policies.
- Responsible for executing day-to-day processing on cycle multi-state payroll for exempt and non-exempt team members.
- Auditing customized payroll reports, validating input for accuracy, and processing special payments and bonuses.
- Responsible for processing off cycles and payroll adjustments for employees.
- Act as a point of contact for Payroll related issues.
- Complete assigned per pay period reporting, auditing, and data reconciliations timely within Rippling and other scheduling tools.
- Stay current with laws and regulation changes and how they affect the payroll.
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of prior experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly.
- Capable of working in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment.
- Must be organized, dependable, and able to follow instructions.
- Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent typing and data entry skills (10-Key by touch).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
