TITLE: Warehouse Coordinator
DESCRIPTION :The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for efficiently managing the ordering, picking, inventory, and distribution of materials to contractors. This role involves ensuring accurate tracking of materials, maintaining organized inventory, and coordinating the timely pick-up times and dates of material to contractor by job. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage material flows while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming orders for materials.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for pick up.
- Track inventory levels, conduct monthly stock counts, and ensure inventory is up to date and reported to our client.
- Maintain proper organization of materials within the warehouse to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure accurate documentation for all outgoing and incoming materials.
- Coordinate with contractors to verify material requirements and ensure accuracy.
- Assist in material storage, organization, and retrieval, ensuring ease of access and safety.
- Monitor and report on material usage, ensuring that necessary supplies are ordered and picked up in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Keep yard and warehouse organized and free of debris.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to lift 80-100 lbs
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets AM Communications standards
- Ability to pass a nationwide background check and drug screen
- A minimum of 1-year cable or related industry experience
- Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, web-based applications, email, and billing systems like ICOMS.)
- Must present a positive, professional image to employees, customers, and clients.
- Lifting, squatting, kneeling, and crouching routinely required.
