Summary
Responsible for providing primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation.
Minimum Qualifications
Must possess a current license or a temporary practice permit to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Appropriate clinical experience with a thorough knowledge of the scientific principles of nursing and professional nursing standards, developed skill in delivering nursing care, and the ability to adapt to individual needs.
A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
The ability to successfully complete a competency-based orientation and annual competency testing of skills and knowledge that is necessary to provide care to specific patient populations.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Ability to operate various office and medical equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of experience performing phlebotomy and EKG.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
