FWI Holdings, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support financial operations across multiple companies within our portfolio. This role is critical to ensuring accurate accounting, compliance, and timely reporting across all entities. The ideal candidate will be experienced in multi-entity accounting and demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day accounting functions for multiple entities, ensuring accurate and consistent financial reporting across the organization.
- Prepare and post journal entries, including intercompany transactions and allocations.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and intercompany balances monthly.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes for each company, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset ledgers across multiple entities.
- Review and process vendor invoices, credit card transactions, and employee expense reports in accordance with approval workflows.
- Manage accounts receivable functions including invoicing, customer payments, and aging analysis.
- Assist with external audits by compiling financial data and supporting documentation across all entities.
- Maintain and update accounting procedures documentation tailored to the multi-entity environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- 2-3 years of progressive accounting experience; experience in a multi-entity or multi-location company is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control best practices.
- Experience with accounting systems capable of handling multi-entity structures (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks Enterprise, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations).
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
- CPA or working toward CPA certification is a plus.
