A Brief Overview
Responsible for managing public and private sector grants for the program. Accountable for current state and federal trends in health and social services and uses this knowledge to identify opportunities for partnerships that support the Center's priorities. Works closely with the management team to identify and assess funding opportunities. Through the life cycle of the grants, the coordinator collaborates across departments to establish, measure, comply with and report on grant objectives and outcomes.
What you will do
- Identifies and evaluates new grant opportunities, working closely with management team to ensure alignment between prospective funder and program.
- Manages grant processes from start to finish, including the proposal development, ongoing reporting, monitoring grant deadlines, and completion of grant renewals.
- Ensures a shared understanding of the grant purpose and requirements with all involved parties.
- Identifies terms and conditions of each awarded grant and provide guidance to staff on the administration of grant requirements to ensure compliance.
- Performs daily tasks associated with grant responsibilities related to assigned scope of work to include submitting all grant applications, documents, letters, invoices to the appropriate parties in the required timeframe.
- Apprises Director or Chief Integration Officer of any/all grant related items, activities and changes that are time sensitive and may require intervention, decision, making or action plans. Coordinates, plans and participates in programs to meet program goals and objectives for each grant.
- Compiles, prepares and reconciles grant expenditures, budget services, financial reports and analysis. Works with legal department to prepare and manage grant related contracts and partner agreements. Generates overviews and special reports as needed in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management/Administration, Social Science or Human Services Required
- Master's Degree Preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience of program delivery or program oversight within state and federal regulatory environment. Experience with business processes, including budget development and data validation and analytics. Required
