POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Trinity Health IHA Management Fellow is a post-graduate opportunity that provides a broad range of experience in a variety of healthcare business units and facilities. The fellow will work closely with a preceptor throughout their fellowship experience. The fellow performs problem assessment, analysis, solution design and recommendation, and implementation as directed, based on experience and capability.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Works on special assignments as directed by their preceptor/mentor – either individually or as a member or leader of a project.
Leads or participates in meetings and collaborates with key stakeholders and subject matter experts as appropriate.
Collaborates with the Operations Projects Manager to align clinical and operational goals with the organization’s strategic vision.
Assesses problems through appropriate data collection and analysis techniques.
Identifies and recommends appropriate action steps for problem resolution.
Implements action steps for improvement and evaluates effectiveness of problem solution process and outcome.
Monitors and evaluates project performance, ensuring timely delivery of key milestones and alignment with strategic priorities.
Serves as a key advisor to the Operations Projects Manager to support in executing key operational projects and priorities
Takes ownership of cross-functional initiatives, driving strategic projects that enhance organizational performance and implements innovative solutions across all departments.
Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders, Divisional Leadership and Business Intelligence to promote collaboration and effective communication.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Master’s degree in system science, business administration, statistics, economics, computer science, healthcare administration, public health, health policy and management or other quantitative field required.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Minimum three months experience in healthcare field
