We are seeking a Roving Community Manager & Maintenance Technician to oversee the daily operations of Lavender Court, while also providing as-needed support to other properties within our portfolio. This dual-role position is ideal for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys variety in their daily responsibilities.
At Lavender Court, your focus will be on creating a well-maintained, welcoming environment for residents by managing daily operations, leasing activities, and maintenance tasks. As a roving team member, you'll also assist neighboring properties with management and maintenance coverage, inspections, and special projects when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Community Management – Lavender Court (Primary Site)
- Handle leasing: advertise vacancies, conduct showings, process applications, and complete lease agreements
- Collect rent, issue receipts, serve notices, and enforce lease compliance
- Maintain accurate resident records, reports, and property documentation
- Build positive resident relations and respond to concerns professionally
- Coordinate with vendors for property maintenance, repairs, and improvements
- Conduct regular inspections and respond to maintenance or safety concerns
- Assist with legal proceedings, including notices and evictions when necessary
Roving Property Support – Portfolio-Wide
- Provide interim support at nearby properties as needed (e.g., vacation coverage, high-turnover periods, special projects)
- Assist with leasing activities, resident communications, and vendor coordination at other sites
- Travel between properties to assist with community oversight and ensure continuity of operations
- Work closely with regional managers to prioritize needs and maintain consistency across sites
Maintenance Duties (Lavender Court & Support Sites)
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Complete unit turnovers and prepare apartments for move-in
- Maintain common areas and curb appeal at assigned properties
- Enter and track maintenance work in AppFolio
- Install and repair appliances, fixtures, drywall, and other interior components
