We are looking for a talented and motivated Financial Reporting Specialist that will help us shaping our team and will report to the Group Financial Reporting Manager, in the CFO area.
Our perfect candidate has a solid background in accounting fundamentals, ideally with some experience in working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a business-oriented accounting enthusiast with analytical approach and excellent attention to details.
Your main responsibilities will include:
-Supporting and reviewing the accounting activities performed by our external advisor;
-Recording and reconciling accounting transactions with the support of our ERP (Oracle Netsuite);
-Working closely with the other global finance teams in order to partner with the business and ensure sound financial processes at Group level. Ensuring correctness and reliability of accounting data (e.g. invoices to be received, accruals, deferrals, etc.)
-Managing monthly, semiannual and annual closing processes;
-Verifying the correct preparation and filing of periodic tax forms
Requirements
You are our ideal candidate if you meet these requirements:
●Outstanding academic background in Business Administration;
●Previous experiences (1/2 years) in accounting for companies or Big 4 audit firms;
●Good understanding in international accounting standards (IAS /IFRS) and main tax requirements;
●Positive mind-set, pragmatic attitude, ownership mentality and a "can do" attitude;
●Fluency in Spanish and English is a must;
●Analytical skills, precision and attention to detail;
● Good knowledge of Excell
