Wage Range: $38.44-$61.50 per hour. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation, such as per diem stipend in lieu of benefits, may be available for this role. JOB SUMMARY of ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Works under the direction of the Director of Operations and Preparedness. Works in close collaboration with members of the Administrative and Leadership Team for overall operational and administrative teams and projects, as well as helping to develop processes and strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Provides facilitative leadership and assumes responsibility and authority for ensuring all action plan objectives, tactics, updates, and deadlines are adhered to. Works closely with Director of Operations and Preparedness to ensure operational strategies and outcomes are in accordance with organizational and regulatory needs.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE; CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in healthcare. Previous experience in direct patient care/navigation, quality improvement, project management, operations or operational planning experience preferred. Bachelor of Science, Business or Health Care Administration preferred. Attention to detail, organizational skills, excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to facilitate multi-disciplinary teams required.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of medical research and education, of FEMA and standards of emergency preparedness response, accreditation, and an understanding of practices for coordination of crisis management operations. High-level interpersonal skills to gain consensus and compliance are essential.

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information and conduct job functions in a professional manner.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND HAZARDS:
Adheres to all State and Federal regulations pertaining to hazardous materials and BBP. Risks to include exposure to communicable disease, hazardous substances, and risk of physical injury from lifting patients.

All hospital departments, patients, physicians, visitors, office staff, board members, and community members.
SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and transport and transfer patients. Must be able to bend, stoop, push and pull. Walks, stands and sits for periods of time.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Works closely with Director of Operations and Preparedness to plan for and facilitate EvergreenHealth Monroe’s (EHM) operational objectives as defined by the Chief Administrative Officer, Boards, and Administrative Council; helps to oversee action plan tactics, deadlines and follow-up. Coordinates and facilities teams, as needed.
Employs lean methodology and analytics into organizational operations in order to accomplish objectives and strategic priorities.
Identifies and recommends operational and clinical champions charged with implementation of the operational plan and administrative initiatives.
Leads the communication and dissemination of the operational objectives to employees, medical staff and the community, as requested.
Leads and provides internal consultation to other departmental planning efforts and ensures linkages to the organization’s objectives as defined by the Administrative Council.
Supports the Director of Operations and Preparedness in the development and communication of operational implementation/progress reports, including identifying the operational plan performance measures and targets in conjunction with key stakeholders.
Provide structure and support for service line leaders to provide standardized planning, review and refinement to facilitate service line growth plans.
Assist Director of Operations and Preparedness in the development, implementation, and review operational policies and procedures.
Participate in committees as delegated by Director of Operations and Preparedness.
Assist to develop, maintain and continually improve hospital-wide emergency preparedness, business continuity response plans, and programs to improve the organization’s ability to respond to emergencies, effectively manage incidents, and systematically restore the campus to full operation following any adverse event.
Assist the Director of Operations and Preparedness with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, developing and maintaining crisis management plans and programs; keeping current on federal, state and local regulations, integrating hospital plans with local authorities, state, and federal guidelines; serving as liaison to community and government emergency planning agencies and establishing mutual aid agreements; coordinate and assist the formal planning for and with clinical departments for mass casualty preparedness; appoint key personnel to assist in the development, training and execution of drills; develop, administer and direct emergency and disaster preparedness training courses; apply for federal funding for emergency management related needs and administer such grants; evaluate new and existing emergency systems.
