Summary
The primary role of the Rehab Technician is to support the daily operations of the therapy/rehabilitation departments. Under the supervision of a therapist or therapist assistant, responsibilities may include assisting with non-clinical patient-related tasks, transporting materials, handling department supplies, preparing and routing medical records, and monitoring routine exercises. The role also involves cleaning, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Licensure/Certification

CPR certification required within 90 days of employment and must be maintained.

If assigned to drive a company vehicle, a valid driver’s license is required.

If using a personal vehicle, proof of insurance is also required.
Experience
At least one year of experience in a patient care setting is preferred, ideally as a caregiver.
Other Qualifications

Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds, and may be required to push/pull up to 300 pounds.

Must be flexible and willing to work at other assigned locations.
