SUMMARY: Performs a variety of complex administrative functions for the Administrator and Chief Nursing Office. Supports Board of Directors and Committees thereof including keeping minutes of meetings. Maintains formal governance documents of the Corporation, and the Medical Staff. Manages schedules, payroll, coordinates travel arrangements, processes business expenses, and coordinates meetings and events. Manages procurement of goods and services including computer equipment, office supplies, reference materials, and vendor relationships. Provides general office support. Serves as the contact for ADMINISTRATOR and CNO. Completes special projects as assigned. Provides project management assistance for Medical Staff, ADMINISTRATOR and CNO.
BAXTER HEALTH COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and adheres to Baxter Health standards as they appear in HealthStream Policy Manager.
Required to work with the ADMINISTRATOR and CNO regularly to carryout, initiate and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health Administration Department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Associates Degree in business or relevant field required. Relevant work experience may be considered in place of education.
Experience: 3 years executive/administrative assistant experience required. Previous hospital experience preferred.
Other: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and basic office equipment. Strong keyboarding skills required. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Must possess excellent public relations and telephone communication skills.
