Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting an Environmental Service Technician to join our Environmental Services Department.

About the Department: Environmental Services provides a clean, safe environment for patients, employees, and visitors using prescribed methods in a professional, courteous manner.
A typical day will include: Cleaning all areas of the hospital by performing routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, office, clinical areas, operating rooms, waiting rooms, lobbies, lounges, restrooms and corridors.
- Ensure all areas are sanitized according to hospital 7 Step Process.
- Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
- Notifying supervisor of necessary repairs.
- Demonstrates ability to utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedures.
- Assisting patients and guests when necessary.
The position is: Full-Time Evenings 3:00 p.m. -11:30 p.m.
Job Requirements:
- Education:Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent
- Skills: Service
- Licensure/Certification: N/A
- Physical: Prolong periods of standing and walking; ability to read and write documentation; Exerting 20 to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 lbs of force frequently.
