General Purpose of Job
The Field Sales Representative will uphold Grange Co-op's mission and core values by driving new sales through proactive outreach, community engagement, and relationship building with agricultural customers, youth programs, and local organizations. This position focuses on outside sales efforts to grow Grange Co-op's customer base while promoting its products, services, and community-focused initiatives. The role includes a mix of direct sales activities and event representation, with all efforts focused on generating higher levels of profitable sales for the company.
Essential duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a territory growth plan to increase sales within assigned markets.
- Make regular farm and business calls to establish relationships, identify needs, and sell products/services.
- Order or coordinate sales and product deliveries for customers as needed.
- Promote and sell Grange Co-op's private label brands and other products through direct interactions and community involvement.
- Use data and reporting tools to develop sales strategies and track performance.
- Ensure all interactions align with the “Grange Way” customer service philosophy.
·This role requires over 75% of the employee"s time to be spent outside the office, actively engaging with customers and driving sales.
- Represent Grange Co-op at fairs, auctions, and community activities to promote sales and brand visibility.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging at all events.
- Coordinate with the appropriate personnel to determine proper pricing.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain a calendar of outreach and sales activities, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Prepare reports on sales performance and event impact for the CEO.
- Attend or host agricultural seminars and networking events to stay informed on industry trends.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or 4+ years of experience in sales or community outreach.
- Background in agriculture, livestock management, or farming is essential.

Supervisory
- This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
The salary range for this role is:
$100k- $175k
