Job Description:
The Head of Last Mile oversees the nationwide pick-up and delivery of parcels by managing Ninja Van Philippines’ courier fleet, coordinating with independent contractors, and collaborating with key business partners.
This role leads the core service of our largest business unit, Nationwide Express Delivery, and is critical in ensuring service excellence and operational scalability across the country. The Head of Last Mile will spearhead a nationwide team dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable services supporting the company’s continued growth.
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the Head of Last Mile will work cross-functionally with Commercial, HR, Admin, and Finance teams to drive operational efficiency and strategic business outcomes.
Main Duties
- Serve as the primary owner of Last Mile unit economics, focusing on controlling operational costs and contributing to the company’s P&L, project cost planning, and business decision-making.
- Lead the Last Mile operations team's recruitment, training, and development, ensuring performance tracking and continuous improvement.
- Maintain consistent and high-quality operational performance across all service areas.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement strategic objectives for the department.
- Deliver a data-driven and customer-centric operations experience in every serviceable city.
- Leverage analytics to identify opportunities for improving delivery quality and to foster a reliable and engaged network of Ninja couriers.
- Continuously enhance internal processes and operational workflows to drive efficiency.
- Analyze demand and supply trends to ensure optimal courier availability.
- Provide effective team management by clearly communicating objectives, KPIs, implementation strategies, and timelines.
- Oversee a diverse team of fleet supervisors, administrators, and drivers, guiding them to meet key operational targets.
- Manage effectively; communicate strategic objectives and practical initiatives with KPIs, implementation goals and timelines.

Qualifications
- BS/BA Degree in any field
- 7-10 years of project management, change management or operations experience, preferably in the logistics and supply chain industry
- Experience in managing large teams from ground staff to senior managers
- Exposure to or experience in managing regional or nationwide operations
- Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
- Good analytical skills
