GENERAL PURPOSE:
The HR Analyst supports key HR functions, with a focus on payroll operations, compensation management, and HR data systems. This role ensures accurate processing of payroll, commissions, and bonuses in collaboration with the company’s PEO, and contributes to projects involving compensation strategy, wellness programs, policy development, and HR automation initiatives.
Payroll & Compensation
- Manage payroll processing in collaboration with the company’s PEO, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in salary, commission, and bonus payments.
- Maintain compensation records and support Finance in payroll-related budget planning.
- Contribute to compensation benchmarking and support the development of equitable pay practices.
- Support compensation-related programs and initiatives.
Compliance & Policies
- Maintain and update HR policies in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Ensure compliance with employment documentation requirements.
- Assist in the development and communication of policy and handbook updates.
Data Administration & Analysis
- Maintain HRIS systems to ensure data accuracy and usability.
- Generate reports and dashboards to analyze payroll, compensation, and workforce data.
- Support process improvements and HR automation efforts.
- Monitor and assist in forecasting People-related expenses including payroll and benefits.
- Coordinate with People leadership and Finance on benefits administration, wellness programs, and related projects.

Education and Experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in HR, with emphasis on payroll, compensation, or data management.
- Experience working with a PEO for payroll preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
