Human Resources Business Partner

In this highly impactful role, you will:

Advise and Guide: Act as a trusted consultant to business units on HR policies, employee relations, and employment law—empowering leaders to build high-performing, engaged teams.

Champion Engagement & Wellbeing: Collaborate with managers to foster an environment where every associate feels valued, informed, and part of the team. You’ll help translate engagement survey results into actionable improvements.

Lead with Integrity: Manage complex employee relations cases, support compliance, and ensure fair, consistent application of policies, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and collective bargaining agreements.

Facilitate Learning: Develop and present training to enhance leadership capabilities and understanding of HR best practices and legal requirements.

Be a Change Partner: Consult on reorganizations, compensation, talent planning, and other strategic HR initiatives to align with evolving business needs.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with HR subject matter experts in benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, and learning & development to deliver seamless support to the business.

Drive Continuous Improvement: Stay attuned to industry best practices and contribute to system-wide HR initiatives that make Beacon an employer of choice.

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; Master’s preferred.

5+ years of HR experience in a large, union/non-union organization, with broad expertise across employee relations, compensation, benefits, training, and recruitment.

PHR/SPHR certification strongly preferred.

Deep knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

Strong investigative, problem-solving, and coaching skills.

Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems.
