POSITION PURPOSE:
The Marketing Manager will be a skilled marketer with a passion for creating and building brands and introducing big ideas to the world. This person will collaborate across the organization to identify opportunities to share the excitement happening at Centennial Yards and craft compelling content that propels our story online and in real-world environments. This person should have a passion for Atlanta with an emphasis on Downtown Atlanta and should be excited to participate in the transformation that is occurring through the work of the Centennial Yards team as well as other development partners in the South Downtown area. The Marketing Manager serves as a dedicated support to the Director of Marketing to identify opportunities to create content targeting key customer audiences and pull together the key data, commentary, and insights to tell our stories. This person will be responsible for delivering compelling content that furthers Centennial Yards brand goals and leasing efforts across residential, office, and retail buildings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Marketing Strategy
- Plan and implement targeted email marketing campaigns to engage and retain key stakeholders.
- In partnership with the Director of Marketing, support the development and execution of marketing strategies that align with business goals.
- Campaign Development & Digital Marketing
- Develop marketing materials to support outbound marketing efforts and ad hoc requests from leadership team (e.g. campaigns, presentations, internal materials).
- Partner with internal and external resources to create and implement engaging content for social media channels, such as photos, videos, and written posts.
- Create and implement engaging social media content and campaigns to build brand awareness.
- Ensure content (e.g. website, social media accounts, brochures, and other marketing mediums) are aligned with current content (e.g. renderings, copy, video).
- Manage website content and optimize design for enhanced user experience and SEO performance.
- Develop editorial calendar in concert with agency partner to keep the Centennial Yards social accounts fresh and informative.
- Support vendor relationships, including invoicing, reporting, and scheduled calls.
- Event Strategy and Execution
- Oversee all event logistics including vendor selection, contract negotiation, booth set up, speaker coordination, scheduling. Work with the Property Management team and third-party vendors as needed.
- Plan and execute events within conferences – managing the start to end process including venue selection and logistics to on-site execution.
- Public Relations
- Scan the horizon for opportunities to engage in other communities, including speaking engagements, podcasts, media interviews, etc.
- With the support of the Marketing Director, liaise with Public Relations firms on media pitches, events, new hire announcements, etc.
- Admin Support
- Support the President of CY in organizing speaking events/interviews.
- Track and track marketing KPIs (e.g. website traffic).
- Collect research materials as needed to support outbound marketing efforts.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)
- Bachelors’ Degree in English, Marketing, Journalism or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a marketing management and/or brand development role. Real estate and/or property management experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
- Demonstrated ease, facility, and interest in working with data, including standard email engagement metrics and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics).
- Experience with social media marketing and analytics platforms.
- Ability to work with cross functional teams and leadership at all levels.
- Strong analytic skills and proven track record of proactive problem-solving.
- Strong verbal, presentation (virtual and in person) and written communication skills. Excellent command of English language required (specifically, writing for digital channels).

- Proven experience managing internal and external teams to execute projects.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to apply sound judgment in new or ambiguous situations.
- Ability to remain nimble and quickly shift project priorities as business needs fluctuate.
- Strong experience leading both strategic development and tactical execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Understands the Atlanta market and stays on top of local culture, including music, art, festivals, and other events.
- Can thrive while juggling multiple projects at various stages of development.
- Passion for the creative process and willingness to work in a dynamic and ever-evolving landscape.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Analytics.

Actual base salary considers several factors including but not limited to geography, job-related knowledge, experience, and budget. The start of the salary range is typically associated with the minimum experience required.
