Position Summary
Oversees and coordinates clinic operations and staff. Provides supervision, support, and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical services. Monitors and evaluates the performance of staff, providing feedback and coaching, and ensuring adherence to ethical and professional standards. Assists in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, as well as providing training and continuing education opportunities for staff.
Responsibilities
• Acts as a clinical resource for team in daily problem solving within scope of license, registration, or certification
• Ensures appropriate patient assessment and treatment
• Responsible for coordination of care and education for patients
• Provides procedural oversight, if applicable
• Performs clinical responsibilities within scope of license, registration or certification as assigned
• Participates in quality assurance and quality improvement projects that are identified
• Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations
• Participates in Regulatory Compliance training and activities
• Ensures compliance with established regulations and standards including quality improvement projects, quality assurance, and confidentiality and EHR documentation
• Reviews and evaluates the work and performance of subordinates
• Authorizes personnel actions and oversees most day-to-day operations of team
• Coordinates staff education, training, standards compliance and performance evaluations
• Responsible for adherence to budget
• Leads and directs the work of others
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
• Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned
Requirements and Minimum Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited college or US Military equivalent in area of oversight with applicable credentialing/licensing in one of the following required:
• RN: Minimum of a BSN and State of Idaho Registered Nurse or licensure pending as documented by temporary licensure OR current RN licensure from a state participating in the “multistate privilege to practice” compact with Idaho
• Echocardiography/Vascular/Nuclear Medicine: RDCS, RCS, RVT, RVS, or CNMT
• Polysomnography: Registered Polysomnography Tech (RPSGT) and Idaho PSG license
• Radiology: Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• 3 years of healthcare experience required
• Previous leadership experience in a related field preferred
• BLS required
• ACLS required if applicable to the clinic of oversight
Working Conditions
• Must be able to lift and move up to 35lbs
• Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
• Typical equipment used in a clinical job
• Must be able to stoop, crouch or bend
