Your Role in Our Journey
Wine Enthusiast Companies, the leading full-service provider of innovative products for the wine lifestyle, is creating a new position for an Industrial Product Designer to help shape the visual identity of our expanding Wine Enthusiast branded line of wine storage and accessories.

At Wine Enthusiast, we've spent over 40 years building a portfolio of wine lifestyle products—from cellars and racking systems to bar furniture, glassware, and accessories. We're now investing in the next chapter of our in-house branded line, and we're hiring an Industrial Product Designer to help create a cohesive visual identity across it all.
This is a new role and our first dedicated in-house industrial designer—you'll serve as the primary design lead for our branded products, with the support of outside design partners as needed. You'll have real ownership of the creative and technical process, from concept through production, and play a key role in setting the tone for how our products look, feel, and function.
What You"ll Be Uncorking
Key Responsibilities:
Own the full industrial design process—from initial concept and prototyping to final factory approval and in-market launchDesign and develop original products for Wine Enthusiast's branded line, including:Wine refrigerators and wine storage unitsWine accessories (glassware, corkscrews, wine bags, etc.)Custom and modular racking systemsWine and bar furnitureCreate a consistent and recognizable design language across product categoriesProduce concept sketches, CAD renderings, technical specs, and factory-ready filesCollaborate closely with Product Development, Creative, and Marketing teams from ideation to launchWork directly with our manufacturers to review samples, troubleshoot development challenges, and ensure final products meet design intentParticipate in calls and reviews across global time zones, including occasional early morning or late evening meetingsTravel as needed for factory development, sampling reviews, and product onboardingContribute to packaging and brand presentation to ensure products resonate across digital and retail touchpointsStay informed on industry trends, materials, and finishes to support innovation and commercial viability

Qualifications:
Industrial Design Expertise: 5–10 years of experience in product or industrial design within consumer goods, home, or lifestyle categoriesTechnical Proficiency: Skilled in SolidWorks, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools such as KeyShotBrand Thinking: Ability to build and apply a brand-aligned visual design languageDFM/DFA Expertise: Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles, with the ability to adapt concepts to real-world production constraintsCollaborative Spirit: Strong communicator who works well cross-functionally and with international manufacturing partnersExecutional Rigor: Experienced in managing the full design process from concept to productionTrend Awareness: Keen understanding of design trends, user needs, and commercial dynamicsGlobal Collaboration: Experience working directly with international factories, managing development and communication across time zones, including flexibility for late-night or early-morning calls when necessary
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with international vendors and sourcing partnersBackground in refrigeration or electronics manufacturingExperience with physical prototyping tools and mockups (e.g., 3D printing)A love of wine and the lifestyle around it
This is a hybrid role with a preference for candidates located in the Tri-State area. The position requires on-site presence at our Valhalla, NY headquarters one day per week. We are also open to fully remote candidates who reside outside commuting distance.
