Position Summary:
- At Sand Valley, our Security team plays an important role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and team members. From assisting with guest needs and ensuring public areas remain secure to stocking firewood and responding to emergencies, this role offers a meaningful blend of service and safety.
What You’ll Do:
- Patrol resort facilities, guest accommodations, and grounds to ensure a safe and peaceful environment
- Maintain a visible presence in guest areas to promote safety and deter incidents
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to alarms or emergencies
- Conduct routine inspections and report any safety concerns or maintenance issues
- Assist guests and team members with directions, transportation, or general support
- Drive the resort shuttle after 10 PM for guest transportation
- Keep firepits and wood boxes stocked, lit, and guest-ready
- Complete detailed incident and daily activity reports; support HR with documentation as needed
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders during incidents
- Perform other duties as assigned
What You Bring:
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or corrections preferred
- A calm, professional presence—especially in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

- You’ll work both indoors and outdoors in all kinds of weather. Rain or shine, you’ll help ensure guests and team members feel safe. This role includes a mix of routine patrols and unexpected situations - no two days are the same.
