We’re seeking a skilled real estate attorney to join our team. Our ideal applicant will have 3 years of real estate transaction experience and strong knowledge of land use, title insurance, and business law. Compensation:

$105,000 - $130,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

Negotiate real estate transaction terms and conditions, and facilitate the transfer of title between borrowers, real estate agents, and title company
Cooperate with city boards and agencies to obtain permits and avoid zoning legal issues
Take into account all legal aspects of clients’ intended outcome and personal circumstances to provide sound legal advice to them
Oversee support staff such as paralegals and clerks
Conduct detailed due diligence, and inspect title examination, closing binder, and legal documents for legal risk, completion, and accuracy

Qualifications:

Hold a current law license in the state and be a member of your local bar association
J.D. (Juris Doctorate) degree required from an accredited law school is required
Three years of experience as corporate counsel for a real estate development firm, as a transactional attorney, or residential or commercial real estate attorney
Must be computer proficient
Exceptional negotiation, research, networking, and communication skills are desired
