The Warehouse / Shipping & Receiving Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods in and out of the warehouse. This position is responsible for coordinating shipping and receiving activities, maintaining inventory accuracy via cycle counting, ensuring on time and accurate shipment of products to customers. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong organizational skills, attention to detail and experience in a warehouse environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive and ship parts on a daily basis. Prepare and process shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading, packing slips, shipping labels, ASNs as well as all export documentation).

Schedule and coordinate outbound shipments with carriers and follow up with carriers to ensure daily shipments are picked up.

Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.

Collaborate with the inside sales and customer to ensure order fulfillment.

Assemble kit orders for fulfillment

Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.

Address and resolve shipping or inventory discrepancies.

Communicate, document and track all incoming discrepancies and/or quality issues with parent company

Put away and rotate inventory

Perform and track weekly cycle counts (communicate discrepancies to Supervisor prior to adjustment)

Perform quality checks as needed

Maintain Inventory warehouse locations

Answer phones as needed

Update and maintain list of all customer carrier numbers and shipping regulations

Order and stock warehouse supplies (research cost effective purchases)

Track Receiving of non-inventory product in Amazon. Distribute and/or put away supply orders.

Other duties as assigned

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be proficient in MS Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook and the internet

Ability to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks:

Data Entry with attention to detail. Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack. Stand for long periods, have the ability to bend and lift up to 40 lbs regularly. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. A professional appearance and telephone manner is essential

Must have good command of the English language, oral and written (German is a plus). Must be able to fill out packing slips, bills of lading and various other forms required by freight carriers, including international. Must be capable of estimating weights to calculate shipping costs as well as proper packaging methods.

Experience with UPS software is a plus.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent

3-4 years of related experience.

Knowledge of MRP systems and/or SAP helpful but not required
