About the role
The Project Manager will be responsible for projects set forth within the company's customer equipment orders, repairs and installations. As the Project Manager, you will regularly work with large projects and be expected to be the subject matter expert in Project Support. |
What you'll do
- Ensure the completion of projects while meeting the budget, schedule, quality standards, and design specifications.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders managing equipment delivery, coordination of subcontractors, and project schedules.
- Regularly manage large projects including international.
- Manage pre-job planning, including planning and organizing project meetings.
- Create and maintain project schedules, monitor and review critical path dates and milestone schedules.
- Manage change orders and scope changes.
- Responsible for all installation submittals, project reviews, and problem resolution with the general contractors, subcontractors and vendors.
- Provide job progress reports.
- Provide daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
- Guide the project team and provide basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment when needed.
- Maintain tools and equipment and ensure they are working properly.
- Identity and participate in sales opportunities such as new equipment orders and system sales.
- Provide support during sales meetings, both remotely and onsite
- Provide training for dealers, customers, Field Service Technicians and others as needed.
- Perform field technician duties including installation, commissioning and repairs as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or construction Management or certification in Project Management preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role or combination of associate degree and 10 or more years' experience in servicing diagnostic equipment
- Experience working with internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based service process
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to monitor project efficiency in alignment with the financials
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Ability to lift up to 75 lb
- Valid Driver's license and good driving record required
- Must be willing to travel up to 50%
