Long Cove Club is seeking a hands-on, hospitality-driven Floor Manager to lead our front-of-house dining operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on the floor—coaching a team in real time, anticipating member needs, and ensuring every service feels seamless and personal.
As part of our leadership team, you'll guide servers, bartenders, and support staff to deliver the refined yet welcoming experience that defines Long Cove Club. From conducting pre-shift lineups to jumping behind the bar when needed, you'll set the tone for teamwork, consistency, and genuine hospitality.
- This position requires Thursday-Sunday availability with at least 2 closes per week.
What You'll Do:
- Lead daily dining and bar operations with an active, visible floor presence.
- Coach and motivate servers, bartenders, and support staff to deliver exceptional, detail-oriented service.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and reinforce priorities, menu knowledge, and service standards.
- Monitor pacing, timing, and table flow to ensure smooth, gracious service throughout each shift.
- Step in where needed—bartending, greeting, serving, or assisting resets—to model teamwork.
- Build genuine relationships with members, learning preferences and personalizing service.
- Anticipate needs and resolve any issues quickly, gracefully, and discreetly.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Communicate effectively with culinary and clubhouse teams to support consistency and service excellence.
- Complete shift reports and share feedback to drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- 2+ years of hospitality leadership experience (fine dining, club, or boutique hotel preferred).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong presence on the floor.
- Proven ability to motivate and mentor teams.
- Calm, professional demeanor under pressure with strong problem-solving ability.
- Detail-oriented with high standards for consistency and presentation.
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for hospitality and continuous improvement.
