Fundraiser

Position Type: Full-time and Part-time available (21-35 hours per week,7-hour shifts)
Wage: $20 an hour to start (not on commission)

Requirements
- Strong command of the English language
- Ability and willingness to work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors year-round, rain or shine
- Ability to reliably commute to fundraising sites throughout the city
- Access to a car is a bonus (we encourage team carpools!)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fundraising management, running door-to-door campaigns, or volunteer organizations is a considerable asset
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and listening skills
- Genuine passion for social justice, humanitarian aid, and environmental protection
- Resilience and emotional maturity – able to handle rejection with positivity
- Confidence speaking with people from diverse backgrounds
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments
Overview of Job Duties
- Engage face-to-face with the public on behalf of respected non-profits
- Build rapport, listen actively, and tell compelling stories about our charity partners’ work
- Inspire individuals to become monthly donors
- Represent organizations dedicated to climate justice, equality, and humanitarian relief
- Participate in ongoing coaching and training to strengthen communication and leadership skills
- Work collaboratively with your team to meet daily and weekly fundraising goals
