Job Overview
Contract Hardware Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee mid- to large-size multifamily housing projects across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia. This role is responsible for managing construction projects from concept through completion, coordinating with contractors, architects, installers, and clients to ensure quality, timeliness, and budget control. The ideal candidate will have experience with doors, frames, and hardware, a strong ability to interpret project scopes, and the leadership skills to drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and specifications are met.
- Collaborate with general contractors, architects, installers, and owners to resolve on-site challenges.
- Provide product expertise, technical guidance, and field support to customers and stakeholders.
- Lead and motivate subcontractors and installers to maintain high-quality workmanship.
- Interpret contracts, scopes, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Review and implement project changes from general contractors and architects.
- Prepare status reports for the internal team and general contractors.
- Utilize project schedules to ensure timely delivery of labor and materials.
- Use Procore and Bluebeam to manage documentation, reporting, and workflows.
- Apply knowledge of door estimating and management software (Avaware) when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction project coordination and management.
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and timelines.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Medium-to-high level Excel skills (advanced Excel is required).
- Familiarity with door, frame, and hardware management tools such as Avaware.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in guiding subcontractors and installers.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred (or actively pursuing degree).
- 5+ years of project management experience in construction (preferred).
